Check our new training module on food process validation, available from now on the Iseki Moodle platform


The Food Process Validation module only has an ADVANCED Level (in English). This module refers to:

  • microbial safety management based on risk analysis on the food chain from harvesting to consumption

  • studies conducted by food operators to investigate compliance with the microbiological criteria and food safety objectives at any stage of the food chain

  • full description of the process and food product characteristics

  • challenge test experimentations

  • predictive microbiology


The Food Process Validation module is aimed at:

  • food industries: quality managers, research and development managers, engineers,  staff of technical centers, microbiological laboratories involved in research-development activities and challenge-tests

  • academics in the field of food microbiology: higher education lecturers and students.


Before starting the ADVANCED level, all trainees should have a deep knowledge of the production process and the products characteristics combined with the expertise in food microbiology and analytical sciences.


This level contains 3 units. It takes approx. 3.5 hours to complete.


The content is free of charge, self-paced and interactive, including videos and quizzes. In order to receive an E-SafeFood certificate of completion you must finish all activities included in the units of the respective level !
